LOS ANGELES (AP) — Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass lifted a curfew in downtown Los Angeles on Tuesday that was first imposed in response to clashes with police and vandalism amid protests against President Donald Trump’s immigration crackdown in the city.

Demonstrators gathered at Civic League Park in San Angelo as part of nationwide "No Kings" protests on Saturday.

US President Donald Trump will meet Pakistan’s Chief of Army Staff, General Asim Munir, over lunch in Washington. The meeting comes as Israel-Iran tensions escalate, placing regional security and US-Pakistan relations in sharp focus.
