Two people were arrested near the Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) facility in South Portland for allegedly defacing the building and throwing a rock at a federal officer, with 23 arrests made in total related to the ongoing protests.

Federal officers clad in tactical gear deployed smoke, tear gas, flash grenades and other projectiles as the restive crowd of demonstrators hurled water bottles and fireworks.
