NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- Shoppers ran out of Opry Mills Mall in a "rushed mass exodus" on Saturday afternoon after a reported fight. Metro Nashville Police responded to the incident that occurred shortly before 2:30 p.m. in a tweet on X, saying, "there was no evidence of gunshots, contrary to the rumor." The mall is closed while police investigate.

Nashville Fire Department said that there were no serious injuries, but several were checked by medical personnel on scene for some fall injuries and some “heightened anxiety symptoms” from trying to run from the area.
