The Montreal Canadiens took a big step forward in 2024-25, and they're looking for more progress after acquiring star defenseman Noah Dobson from the New York Islanders, according to Elliotte Friedman of Sportsnet.

The Canadiens appear to be set on the blue line for years to come with Dobson joining Lane Hutson, Kaiden Guhle and David Reinbacher.
