"Lilo & Stitch" is the No. 1 movie in North America, earning an additional $63 million in receipts this weekend, BoxOfficeMojo.com announced Sunday.

The two films delivered the biggest Memorial Day picnic in history at the box office, while 'Lilo' supplanted Tom Cruise's 'Top Gun: Maverick' as the holiday's top opener of all time, among numerous other feats.

Lilo & Stitch' in its second weekend at the U.S. box office towered over 'Karate Kid: Legends' & 'Bring Her Back'.

Directed by Dean Fleischer Camp, Lilo & Stitch has ascended as the second highest-grossing film, eclipsing numerous contenders.
