The Seahawks inked Williams to a three-year, $64 million extension this past offseason. After his dominant game against the Arizona Cardinals in Week 12, then his historic one in Week 13, I think it is safe to say he is worth every penny the team has (and will pay) him.

Seahawks defensive lineman Leonard Williams earned NFC Defensive Player of the Week honors after his game against the Jets that included a 92-yard pick-six.

After a second straight dominant performance, Seahawks defensive lineman was named NFC Defensive Player of the Week on Wednesday.

Williams has been playing out of this world football as of late. In the 16-6 victory over the Arizona Cardinals, he recorded six total tackles and 2.5 sacks. Big Cat believed he should have been named Player of the Week for this performance, but those honors went to his teammate Coby Bryant – who also had a pick-6 against the Cardinals.

After losing out on NFC Defensive Player of the Week to his own teammate following a stellar performance against the Arizona Cardinals, Seattle Seahawks defensive lineman Leonard Williams would not be denied on this occasion.
