The Philadelphia Flyers entered the 2025 NHL draft with 10 selections, including three in the first round and six in the first 50 picks.For the first time in its history, the annual entry draft is being held in a decentralized location — the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles.

Philadelphia's second-rounders were 6-6, 232-pound defenseman Carter Amico and a trio of nice-sized forwards: Jack Murtagh, Shane Vansaghi and Matthew Gard. Murtagh described himself as "a high-end workhorse."

Philadelphia selected 6-foot-3, 204-pound forward Porter Martone with the No. 6 pick in the 2025 Upper Deck NHL Draft at L.A. Live’s Peacock Theater. The Flyers then traded up, sending picks Nos. 22 and 31 to the Pittsburgh Penguins, so they could select 6-foot-4, 187-pound center Jack Nesbitt with the No. 12 pick.
