A Burnsville neighborhood is blocked off Sunday night as officers respond to what appears to be a standoff. What we know Streets have been blocked off for much of Sunday evening due to the police situation on Country View Drive – a neighborhood off County Road 11 near East 130th Street.

Burnsville police asked people on the 1800 block of Country View Drive to shelter in place around 7 p.m., according to a post on X from the department.

Officers in tactical gear and an armored vehicle were at the scene near County Road 11 just west of Terrace Oaks West Park.
