Anna Wintour walks into our interview with her trademark dark glasses firmly on. I’m meeting the woman who has been editor-in-chief of Vogue magazine since 1988 at VOGUE: Inventing the Runway, the show dreamt up by Wintour about the history of the catwalk.

The original movie was based on Lauren Weisberger’s 2003 novel about a young woman’s horrible experience while working at a fashion magazine. Rumblings started about who the film was based off of after it was revealed that Weisberger worked as a personal assistant for Wintour.
