Cryptocurrency investors Woeltz and Duplessie are accused of kidnapping and torturing a businessman for Bitcoin passwords.

Two NYPD officers are now under investigation for their ties to a home where a man was allegedly held and tortured by suspects demanding his Bitcoin password.

John Woeltz, 37, and William Duplessie, 33 -- face kidnapping, assault and unlawful imprisonment charges in the case.
