The Los Angeles Lakers revealed what jersey numbers their new additions Deandre Ayton, Jake LaRavia and Adou Thiero will wear.

The Knicks could have paired Ayton with Karl-Anthony Towns in their frontcourt, with Mitchell Robinson serving as the club’s backup center. Instead, the team went in a different direction, and Ayton opted to join Luka Doncic and LeBron James in Los Angeles.

Ayton spent the past two seasons with the Portland Trail Blazers after being dealt by the Phoenix Suns in the deal that sent Damian Lillard to the Milwaukee Bucks. In Portland, Ayton played in only 95 games, averaging 15.7 points, 10.7 rebounds, 1.6 assists, 0.9 blocks and 0.9 steals.
