Arsenal have moved ahead in the race for Viktor Gyökeres by holding firm talks with the striker's agent on Wednesday, while Liverpool are set to make a move for Paris Saint-Germain forward Bradley Barcola.

Williams has a release clause of around £50m in his Athletic Bilbao contract, with the Gunners and Chelsea believed to be among the clubs considering a move. However, Sky Germany report that Bayern are also keen on Williams and have made contact with the player’s representatives.
