We visited the HOTEL DEL CORONADO, on Christmas Eve. For the 4th or 5th TIME!!! It only had a few places open, including the BIG, beautiful LOBBY!!! It’s truly a gorgeous place on the island.Full review by Clarence B

Are golf carts available to rent for a self tour of the island?

I am not sure if there is anything like that available. It's a very beautiful place though, and many people live there. You may want to call their City Hall to inquire.
Is it possible to hire a bike near to the Santa Fe terminal early on a Sunday morning (say 9:30 am) and then cycle over the bridge and around the island?
